If you’ve played one of these sets, you’ve probably noticed a drop in tension on those two strings, making them all floppy.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOn our Stringjoy 10-60 set, we use a 13.5, 48, and 60 respectively for the 2nd, 6th, and 7th strings, to bring the tension of those strings up to match the strings around them.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe result is a more “tight” set, that’s more powerful, and stays in tune better.
